Conventions India Conclave – Robust Marketing Efforts
The theme for 2018 ICPB – Conventions India Conclave itself says it all – Scaling New Height and Building for the Future. The Conventions India Conclave 2018 will focus on scaling its promotions in the International markets. June 2018 will witness for the first time ICPB pro-active marketing and promotional International Road Shows in several parts of Europe including Paris and Brussels. The initiative is a strong indication that India is poised for exponential growth in the MICE domain and is getting closer to its target of achieving 2% market share in the Associations Meetings market.
The 2-day event will address key issues like Public Private Partnership for Destination Marketing, Social Media Marketing. Bidding for an International Associations Meeting/Conference will be another key focus area at the Conclave. During the Conclave, on 30 August 2018, ICPB will be announce and launch its first State Chapter in Kolkata. Speakers from Overseas and within India will enable knowledge sharing and discuss challenges/road blocks for the Indian MICE market.
Like all editions, the Conclave will host buyers/delegations/MICE planners from around the world to visit India and showcase its rising MICE infrastructure. The post show tours will allow buyers to have a preview into the cultural heritage and rich colours of the fabric called India. Interestingly, the Eastern part of India which is abundant with flora, fauna, nature, mountains and wildlife, will get a better visibility, image boost, helping in major fillip in its tourism.
